In one-on-one coaching, Gary uses the G.R.O.W. model coaching approach popularized by Sir John Whitmore. The powerful steps include:
- Goal. The coaching conversation focuses first on goal clarity. What do you want to achieve? What are the specifics? Why is this important now? How can we narrow the goal down to a clear and actionable objective?
- Realities. What are the specifics of your situation? What are the key issues involved? What are your circumstances—available resources—people challenges—financial constraints—important deadlines? Etc.
- Options. What can you do?—especially exploring the “What if?” and “What else?” options that may not be obvious and readily apparent. Often an opportunity is hiding inside the problem you are facing. Together we will look for good ideas—but especially the “God ideas” for your situation.
- Will. The bottom line of every coaching session (indeed, the entire coaching process) ends in an action step (or steps). The word will refers to what you believe you ought to do and indeed, agree that you will do—the next right thing that will move you toward your goal.

Economical multi-session coaching packages are available.
- Pay as you go Coaching Relationship: $50 per session. However, there are steep discounts for multi-session packages.
- One-month Coaching Intensive: One hour-long coaching conversation each week—$50 per week or a 50% discounted price of only $100 for the entire month (when paid up-front).
- One-year Monthly Coaching Conversation: A one-a-month-coaching conversation for an entire year—$50 per session or a 50% discounted price of only $300 for the entire year (when paid up-front).
